Sound goes clipping in a movie.

Actually I do not know where should I put this but I hope someone can answer this question, thanks.

I own a camera and recorded a live performance of piano and the sound is loud, and only mono, through a DC Canon Powershot S45. I analyzed the wave graph and no clipping occurs. But after I processed it in Adobe Premiere [ a movie editor ] then the sound goes clipping. But this has not happened in any of my other clips before. Can anyone help solve this problem, to prevent the clipping? Thanks

how do you get your video from the camera to the computer?- that would be helpfull

You might want to check the gain on your audio file. There is a 'rubber band', which if set too hight will cause distortion. If you right click on the audio track and set the gain.. Do a search in help for gain or volume levels... hopefully this will help. I personally have no idea about the program I just got an indication from a guy here at work.
