Monitor Power Cables

Okay, so I got my monitors (KRK RP-5) from the house and brought them up to school. Unfortunately, I assumed the power cables were in the boxes with the monitors, and of course they're back at the house. (7 hours away)

I do however have some power cables lying around that will fit them, but I just wanted to ask some people here before I try them.

Are there any potential problems with using power cables besides the ones that came with the monitors?

Thanks!

If they're just 3-prong AC power cables with the 3-prong female receptor on the other end, like what connect your computer to the AC outlet, and there's no transformer (wall wart) in the middle, then swap away, there's no problems or issues.

I love you :)

Awesome. Yeah, I figured it would be fine. It's just that I recently bought them and didn't want to be like, "Hey what's that burning plastic smell?" or something horrific.
