Hi there!
They are teenage girl band called Forbidden Desire and this is their first song ever Pray To Survive. Please post your opinions and suggestions. This is a quick master made with Auto Audio Mastering System using Modern RMS preset because I don't have any experience with mastering. If someone wants to try please help I'll upload a 24bit *.wav file on rapidshare.Tnx!

I'd submit that if you feel you need "serious mastering" then go to a serious mastering facility.

RMS presets on some "automatic mastering system" aren't going to cut it...

Can't get your page to load - Even when pulling out the URL...

I've fixed the link and I mastered the song with AAMS because I don't have any experience in mastering,I just wanted to make the track louder just for you too listen.I'll talk to the band if they want their track to be mastered by a professional. Thanks!

If it were me, I wouldn't waste any money on professional mastering for this. For a demo, it sounds decent - no amount of mastering is gonna make it sound any less like a demo.

Mastering versus volume balancing

For those for whom "mastering" means raising the RMS to obscene levels just so their songs sound as loud as the commercial playlists into which they are inserting their own recordings, may I suggest a more reasonable alternative? Instead of ruining your mix in mastering, ruin it in playback. This will allow the rest of us who prefer to listen to the real mix in all it's dynamic glory to do so:

If I was a volume control I'd be very afraid for the future of my species. At present, all evidence points to extinction. Or at least obsolesence.

They can get in line behind mixing engineers and musicians. :(

God, as a race, we're just all turning into a bunch of Eloi, aren't we?
