Ok, here's my weird idea.
Everyone on here has probably heard of the whole "six degrees of separation" thing.
Well, going along that idea, how's this idea:
Let's say you have three friends willing to do this. Those three friends could potentially (most likely) know people you don't.
What you do is give each friend 100 (or however many) of your CDs. Ask them to sell them for you. They can keep a percentage of whatever they sell, and you get the rest.
Then they recruit people...just kidding.
Anyway, so let's say Friend 1 has his 100 CDs, and sells 20 of them at $10 each. Now let's say he gets 25% ($50) and you get the rest. Even better, let him have 50%.
I know...bad idea.
Maybe something like this could be done with demos, but without the selling. Although with demos you wouldn't give your friend 100, you may give 10 or 20 at a time.
