Work It Out

This is great. The guitar playing really reminds me of both Satriani and Jason Becker, which is really cool. I'm a big fan of both. The subtle panning effects were a nice touch as well as the occasional bass sounds on the sides!

hey endless!
thanks so much for listening...
i love satch and jason,
but i'm older than those guys, so they were never an influence...
there is a lot of ear candy going on in this mix, for sure..

and if you listen in some high quality cans, you can make out the subtle moves.

i love doing that,
but never do it at the expense of washing out the mix.
like i said, it's really subtle stuff,
that i believe really excites the mix, without the listener being aware of it.

it has taken a LONG time to get to the point where i know what im' doing.
or,
at least think i do!!
Heheh :D:D

Rocking on Gonzo! I'd like the vocals a little more up front and maybe a smidge of verb added but just a hell of a rockin tune with some kick butt noise!

thanks so much man, appreciate the listen...
you know, i had the vox up more at the beginning of mixing,
and i just didn't like the way it sat on top of everything else.
i don't hear it like that in my head,
so i mixed it the way i really hear it.

i don't like vocals mixed like it's a pop song. unless, of course, it's a pop song.
:)
