I would forget the label all together and start building up a fan base yourself. Get a website if you don't already have one and consistently update it along with your social media profiles. Start building a mailing list of your fans to let them know about new songs for sale and upcoming shows. Make sure you play lots of shows and promote the shows on your social media channels as well.
