gear list
E-machines computer (default sound card, may up grade to 2496)
Focusrite Trackmaster for mic pre, eq, and compression
A combination of behringer B1 and studio projects (i like how the behringer sounds on instruments)
Event tuned reference 5 monitors

Now the question is wat should i do to step up my vocal quality game (listen to the music first to hear the quality i have achieved before you randomly say anything)

And if its not through purchaseing more equipment then wat do my vocals sound like they're missing.

Honestly, i think im missing that tube sound on my vocals more than anything, but im not a professional, so what do you think in your honest opinion?!

thanks ya'll

damn you all need to leave a message on his message board so i wont be the only one there :d..

I was listening to the track through computer speaker at work ..so i might be missing something....I think you need to raise the vocals up a bit to be louder then the track,,you might want to make the track sound a little bit tightier(come oue more) ..but i really cant listen to it real good here at work..

If you wanna get serious about recording on your computer you NEED a audio recording soundcard. You're not going to get the same quality going into your system. I would step it up there first of all. The trackmaster should be ok.. judging by the voicemaster pro I used to own, so I would say get yourself a nice mic and your vocals should sound decent. (along with a decend soundcard).
