New mixing technique for my vocals

Sounds like you got too much compression on something, maybe the vocals, maybe the whole track. other than that it sounds good
 
Sorry, I had the srs premium sound thing turned on on my computer, it always fucks up music...so actually, the mix sounds good.
 
I don't have a facebook account so I can't compare with the old mix - but the vocals on the limelinx mix actually sound pretty good and set pretty well. I do think they're a bit overcompressed, and there's no body to them at all - like a high-pass filter was used and set just a bit too high. The compression might actually be fine if all the low-midrange wasn't cut from them. I'd like to hear a mix with some more lower-mids on the vocals. You've almost got it down.:cool:
