I've just installed a SB live card and cant get the dam thing to record in Cubase VST/24.
I am trying to record guitar via the input (blue) and it aint happening !
I can hear the guitar on the monitors, which go via the PC, so its getting in there, but in the monitor in Cubase there is no input level what so ever.Yes I can hear other tracks recorded into the project and there monitor levels are OK.( They were done on the old card, Awe 64 Gold )
Any Ideas would be a great help.
Is this just a setup thing ?

The SBLive! software includes a mixer program & you have to enable the components in order to record from a particular source. I would check there and make sure that the source you're recording from is enabled.

I just installed the Live! card as well where I used to have a SB16....yes, I'm a happy
camper now. However, when I did I ran into somewhat the same problem.
Jim is correct. Do check the mixer first. In addition, I noticed that in my
Cakewalk program I had to change the track's source input on my old projects to
reference the new Live! card. You may see SB on there but it may be your
old SB the program is looking for. Check those as well. I'm not very impressed
with the manual. There's a lot of neat stuff on this card, some of it useless to our
application. It sure would be nice to have a little more detail on how all of them
come together. PS...I just installed mine last night....so, I'm kinda familiar with
    what I had to through....
