The drivers are for Win7, but they work in Win10 (Tested myself). If you're interested, send me a PM. I'm putting it up on eBay soon.

This is indirectly the one I got from you. I bought that US-1600 from you. Used it for school recordings for a while. Then Rami (remember him?) wanted more inputs, so I traded my 1600 for his US-800. That was around the same time I stopped recording the school bands, so it really hasn't been used in a long time.

Reaper is great for the price (still works 100% the same for free, in fact).

Cakewalk is free, but I don’t know what it’s like.

Son said it had some good MIDI sounds in it but the Modus Op was dreadful. (but then most DAWs are after Samplitude!)

I would suggest Cakewalk Sonar. Free, and a huge well featured package.

Good to hear it works with Win10, for the inevitable day I have to switch computers. Also got mine from Jimmy, and yes it does have 6 mic preamps!

    Likewise.

What I like most is that I will encounter something that I want to do, and I go 'I wonder if I can do this?' and sure enough, I can in nearly every instance.
