is it possible to have a soundcard and then use a recording mixer thats plugged into the sound card to record???? i need more inputs so is it possible to do it that way???? is there any othere ways???

Your soundcard or other interface to your computer needs to have the required number of inputs. A mixer alone won't get you additional inputs. It might allow you to group several inputs into a stereo track and in this way expand your capabilities; but you won't get additional recorded tracks.

You need something like a Delta 44 with 4 inputs, or a Delta1010LT which has 8
