Recording Latency Problem ?!

Hey,

wtf... all of a sudden I'm getting some latency problems whenever I record, it goes on beat when i spit for hip hop but then 10 seconds later it goes off beat not too noticeably, but then another 10 seconds you hear it go off the tempo . This just started happening now. I use Adobe Audition 1.5 with a Samson C01U ( crap mic i know im upgraging). Why did I just start getting this latency problem? Yesterday is was just fine...

Is it the microphone? or did I jack something up in the Settings of AA?

That's not latency. That's drift. They are completely different. Drift is caused by having a different sample rate in your project than the one set on your interface....
 
there's no interface on this usb mic.
But anyway, the problem was from my Asio4all apparently. lol
when I fixed up the Hardware Buffer to 10ms, it was back to normal. But I swear I never touched the asio on the program...
