Protools v7.0 for Mbox 2 having problems with the protools 7.0

I'm using Protools 7.0 through the computer. I'm also using the tutorials for it. But the problem is When I first got protools some windows automatically popped up to start using it but I "X' them out thinking it'll automatically pop up again when I want to use the program. But whenever I'm using protools the window doesn't come automatically so I can't record . How can I record on protools 7 I really need help
 
what "windows" are you talking about?
what do they say?

are you talking about the Create New Session window? File-->New Session
 
Yea its when i try to create a new session. Im trying to follow along with the DvD and when it gets to the part about creating a new session i follow it exactly but im not seeing what its showing.
 
when you open PT either go to File-->New Session or Ctrl (Apple)+N
You have to create the session before you do anything and then it automatically saves it on your disc
