No Audio Device, Help?

I go under my soundcard options and it says I have no audio device. My computer crashed a couple weeks ago, so I got some guy to fix it and I suppose the retarded fuck deleted my audio device. Is there anyway I can download another one? I've searched the whole web and I haven't found anything.

I have a Dell Dimension 4600C
I think the stock card is an audigy platinum, but I'm not sure.

your computer probably can't find the driver for it
goto http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us (Microsoft's Update) and see if it can locate you the third party driver.
