My Lenovo S340 showed up yesterday. Everything seems to be working fine.
First thing I did was pull down Firefox and Reaper. I then made a backup image of the drive. Took off the Office365 and will kill the McAfee AV shortly. The Cortana stuff is a pain. It took about 15 or so minutes to get up and running on the network, and to turn on file sharing for my home network.
There's about 200G free, but I've got a 4TB backup drive to use with it. Maybe over the holidays I'll hook up the Tascam 16x08 and see how things run.
I picked up a 500g drive to put in the old Win7 Asus. Once I get the system transferred over, I'll set up a dual boot with a Linux partition. That will keep the best of both worlds. I have a couple of programs on this laptop that I can't move to the new one, like Nero (No CD on the new one).
Hopefully I'm good for another 5 years or so.
