Before I make any stupid decisions, I guess I'll be a little thorough in my investigation. My deliema is that I have two processors and must use NT(spelling sucks too -so I'm told by my girlfriend). I want a cheap card--and the Midi Man 2044 is looking good right now, but it will not run under NT. Is there any that will. (under 200$ wholesale). I also have a niffty solution in a program called Partition maigic, it enables me to boot off of either NT or 98. I'd love to just be rid of 98, but for now, is there any drawbacks to recording on one os and then bringing it to another partition to edit?
What cards (at least 16 bit)between 200-400$ can I get that will work with NT?
