I record trk 1 at 0db. Play it back it sounds good.
Then I go to record trk 2 while monitoring trk 1 and trk 1 volume is way low.
All my levels are at 0db, but I can barley hear trk 1 when recording trk 2.
It sounds like your monitor mix is not set up correctly.
The emu control panel software should let you adjust the relative monitoring volumes of what you've already recorded (often called wav out) with what you're currently recording (Hardware In)
