Here's a strange one to tuck away in case it ever comes up.
S61 keyboard that was working fine before studio rebuild. On connecting up, the browse function from the keyboard simply didn't work, the screens remained on their power up state. Many functions worked normally, and using the on screen browser worked - including turning the browser knob and being able to audition the sounds. The music part was fine the keyboard works. However, pressing the browser button did nothing. On-line searches fruitless. I have a Steinberg 121 control panel and that works fine, on it's USB connection.
The cure? - the S61 goes through a 4 way USB 3 hub, sharing the cable back to the computer with a mouse and keyboard. The CC121 is wired direct back to the computer with a single cable. Swapped the two over, so the CC121 goes through the hip and the S61 goes direct, and it works perfectly. I'm assuming it's a power issue going through the 4 way hub.
