Can you write your experiences on using your iMAC for recording? I am considering gettting one and I like to know of any issues that I should be aware of....
I am looking at the new iMAC 20".

    Thank you,

I use my iMac with a firepod, have pushed 8 channels of audio into it easy as pie....

I did put a full gig of RAM in, that helped a great deal with some things....

Mine is working on year three I think....

I love mine, don't remember any problems with it....

    These are just good machines.

Intel iMacs have only been around for maybe a year. He said his was three years old. The new intel iMacs are killer machines.

    Thanks Fellas.
I just won a new 20" on ebay. I will have to see how it works. I still need to get a MOTU or Presonus, something with firewire. Still not sure which one to get....

I got taken for a ride for the iMAC I won on Ebay. I sent $1225 for the 20" and seems like this guy has scammed me, even though he has a feedback score of 42.

    Ebay and Paypal are investigating....
