I need a driver!

I received my AP2496 the other day, but can't get the driver CD to work.
I don't even see a startup icon for the 2496.
Can some one please help me find where I can get the correct driver so that I can use this thing?
I sure would appreciate the help.
The driver CD they sent me is just labeled "Driver CD-M-Audio"

If you are talking about the M-Audio Audiophile 2496, just go to their site and get the drivers there. Their "on disc" products are notoriously out of date.

Thank you drstawl...I tried this site but still don't know how to find the exact driver needed to enable the card.

When I enter in the requested info...I get several choices,none of which I can make work.
Maybe I just don't know how to load them.
My computer is not detecting the new card yet.
I have tried removing the card and starting from scratch but to no avail.
Any suggestions???
 
Go into Control Panel and go thru the Add New Hardware shpiel and then point it to the .inf file or whatever you downloaded.

They just need to know the card you are using and the Operating System you are running it under.
