How do companies that make samples make the samples??? I don't mean how do they record them. I assume they just use great instruments, great players, great recording techniques, and great microphones. I am talking about the technical aspects of creating the sample. Suppose I wanted to record a door slamming or whatever, and use that as an EXS24 sample. Or let's say that I wanted to make a sample collection of my own for the EXS24 to sell on the internet. (Trust me, this will never happen) I am just surious as to how these sample CDs get made.
