Hey all, my studio these days is pretty much pro tools based. I usually record mix, and edit in pro tools. I have a Soundcraft Ghost board which isnt getting much use lately due to all the mixing I do in PT. So i was wondering what the best solution would be to get my audio out of PT into the board. Right now im getting 16 channels out (i have the digi 001) using the 8 outs from that and 8 outs from an adat to get to my board. Unfortionaly 16 tracks is hardly enough for most of my projects so I cant do much. I am considering buying an Alesis HD24 and using that to record and bring my audio into pt to edit and then put back into the HD24. I am also curious about RME cards, I was wondering if they are compatible with PT, and if not is there anyway I can get the audio out with them, because I have four Adats that could be used. Ideally I would like 32 tracks out into the board.
