Free (or really cheap) software to host ezdrummer?

I'm planning on getting a mobile recording interface with Sonar at some point, but for now I do most of my recording on a Fostex MR8. I just ordered a copy of ezdrummer because it was on sale for $100 (at musicians friend) and I know I'll eventually be using it in Sonar, but I'd like to start playing with it a little as soon as I get it. Is there anything freely available that I can host ezdrummer in to start building drum tracks? I figure for now I can record the audio to my MR8 for sketching, and then load the tracks into my eventual DAW setup.

    Reaper www.reaper.fm

Only $50 for the non-commercial license, but you can demo it (fully functional) for as long as you like...
(and you may even decide you don't need to spend all that money on Sonar)

Wow that was fast. Thanks, Tim! There's even a video on youtube about setting it up.
