Neophyte PC recorder here, seasoned musician, lack of drumming ability.
I am looking for links, programs, downloads, people, places and things to help find add on loops and beats for my music recording.
I use Fruity Loops Express now, which came free with my Cakewalk program. Most of the beats are "house" sounding, more electronic than anything. Are there some more natural ways to add simple beats to your recording software, such as Home Studio or N-Track?
I record primarily blues/folk/jazz and pop that is influenced by the three.
So, for blues as an example, I want some simple beat to lay a bass line on. I can then add guitar and vocals.
