Firepod w/ Logic Pro 7 w/ Intel Mac? Am I going to compatibility hell?

In my experience, you'd be happier on the Mac with a MOTU 8Pre, but it should work anyway.
On the plus side, Apple maintains the entire driver stack that supports the FIREPOD, so if anything doesn't work, at least can't have two vendors arguing over whose fault it is.
