Files, files, files - (pro-tools)

Here is my set up:

apple ibook running pro-tools, not the latest but second to latest version. (i think 6.9 or 6.7)
big Glyph hard drive
not so big glyph drive

I have all my sessions on the big glyph, but pro-tools is creating a folder (same name as the session) on the main hard drive (ibook) with audio files in it. Is this normal. Is there a way to prevent this?, or do i need to prevent it. Eventually space will be an issue. Can I move these to the smaller glyph, or the big glyph?

what to do?

thanks in advance..

When you first create your session, create it in a folder on one of your Glyph drives. You can move your sessions that are already started on your system drive by doing a "Save Session As.." and saving it to one of your Glyph's. After you complete the "save session as...", verify that the new session play back fine, then you can delete the session from your system drive.
