DirectX 8 to 7

I have been informed that many of my plugin problems with Logic are probably because I have DX8 installed.

I want to go to DX7 but I can't find it for downloading anymore. Is there an archive site that might have it?

I'm not sure but you could try pcgamer.com or tom's hardware. No older games with it on the disc?

DX8, the blood-sucking tic

You can still find it on the internet. However I should warn you that there is no workable uninstall for version 8; once you get DX8 on your system its virtually impossible to remove all traces of it.
