Delta 44 driver question

I upgraded my driver on my Delta 44 and now I lost the visual interface for it (all the graphical sliders and options), . I have to go into the control panel and adjust the volume there, that's about all I can adjust on it. I have the original driver cd but it's for win98, I now have xp. Am I screwed or what? I'm thinking this card is so friggin old now anyways.

The driver version I downloaded and installed is 5.10.00.0048a
 
The control panel (or rather an "M" icon to launch it) should appear in the system tray (the right hand end of Windows taskbar). It doesn't show until after another re-boot after the drivers are actually installed.

If you have a lot of items in the systray, and a lot of programs seem to want to put one in there these days, XP may be hiding the "M" icon and you only have to click on the expansion arrow to see it.
