Decent recording Laptop

Need suggestions on a decent laptop for recording. I’ll be using reaper. I play black metal. Really just to record guitars, bass, and vocals. I’ll be programming the drums in. May want to play around with some keyboards at some point. Looking to spend as little as possible but don’t want to waste money on something that won’t get the job done either. Thanks.

Hi,
The most important thing is probably the interface connection.
Make sure it has your preferred flavour; Usb/thunderbolt/FW/whatever.

At least 8gb ram and an SSD system drive are always nice but, really, the average home-use laptop should be capable of a the average home recording.

It is easy to get conned on CPU's, that being said. I always take a look here to get an idea of where the specific chip lies, because "i5" on its own means, more or less, nothing.

Which CPU would be good enough. I have a focusrite Scarlett audio interface I will be playing through. Can you suggest a specific laptop? Again cheap, but I want it to work well if that makes sense lol
