Man, did I have some freakin days of buying equipment this week!
First I bought a real tube Hammond with leslie that was standing for ages in our studio. The owner wasn't too keen on pickin it up so we bought it damn cheap. Than I went to do some shopping for our musicsschool and we bought a electric Roland piano, and a yamaha electronic drumkit. Just when I walked out the store there came this guy in with a Protools 888i/o interface.......
to make a long story short...I bought a complete Protools MIX+ system with 888 interface and additional Mac for very little. There even was the Digidesign Video Slave Driver, the Digidesign 13 slot expansion unit, Opcode studio 64x with SMPTE, several standalone SCSI harddrives, Yamaha SCSI cd burner etc etc etc etc
And if I told you it wasn't twice as expensive as a Digi001........did I make a deal or not!
