Basic questions.

Since this is my first post in this distinguished forum, I am afraid I have a bunch of things to ask. Any help will be really appreciated.

- I plan to buy a Delta 44 audio card ,2in/2out, and a single interface midi to plug a Yamaha TG 500 Sound Generator. The audio interface will be only for the guitar, bass and microphone (separately and one by one).
Is this an optimal buy?
Do I need something else?

- The second partis related to rithms. I have no idea of what shoud I get. How you create rithms on the PC?. Using the midi keyboard? Buying a rithm generator?. If I use only the keyboard without experience on druming, that could be painful.

The better choice in my opinion would be the AP 2496
2 in 2 out with a midi interface built in, no need for a seperate device or card.
If your looking for pre-built drum tracks, there are plenty out there in the form of loops.
