I've been using Samplitude 24/96 for quite a while. However, it hogs resources like crazy, especially when I put in quite a few effects.
I'm thinking of moving to Acid Music Studio 5 or 6 because I just recently purchased an M-Audio Fast Track USB audio interface box and I'd like to use software that jibes with this piece of hardware. One such program is Acid Music Studio 6, I think. I have a copy of version 5 although I haven't installed it yet.
Any feedback on this? Is Music Studio any good? My pc is an AMD Duron 750 MHz with 384 MB of RAM., running WinXP.
