About the optical drive on this notebook..................

Cubase 6 requires - among other things - that a computer have a ""DVD-ROM dual-layer drive."" My (new) notebook has an ""optical drive.""

Well........... is that the same as a *@#$!@!!~ "DVD-ROM dual-layer drive?" Great snot, I don't know how many layers it has............

Just a DVD drive. Normal movie DVD's are dual layer, about 9gb of data, burnables are usually single layer.
