Is anyone out there using 2 sound cards? I would like to run SB live for my every day computer stuff but i want a good digital sound card for my studio. Im running win 98 on a pentII 266 w/192 meg ram. Am I asking too much?
No, there's no trouble using 2 audio cards as long as you don't have hardware or software interactions (i.e. both trying to emulate an old SoundBlaster with the same interrupt or something). For what you're doing it should be fine.
