Hi,
After years of rolling K7 for my music, I am about to take a big step and purchase a Scully half-inch four-track. It has been completely refurbished by our local frazzled, but friendly top notch professional, who graced it with zero hour transport and brand new headstack. To the point of guilt, I am more than mighty obliged to the restorer and owner for losing so much time and money on the deal. My seven years in radio were spent on Otari, Ampex and Tascam, but the multi-track Scully was kept in "the most holy place" and we were chastised for even looking at it. Since my experience with these particular machines is rather limited, I would love anything you have to offer, be it advice or just scuttlebutt.
