This is in a local online auction... (which also has Ampex ATR-800 2-track listed, condition doesn't look that great) with no reserve. I am about 5 hours away at school right now, but that looks really tempting. It is currently at $2.00 and the bidding ends in about a week. What do you guys think?

guy also has an 80-8 cheap too, one of the guys on here was lookin for heads......if you had time and could get some of it cheap enough u might be able to buy several machines and sell enough parts off to make ur trip worthwhile. It would be probably a 7-8 hour trip for me, maybe a bit longer but i'd seriously consider it if i wasn't so busy with a million other things right now myself.
