For some reason track 3 record wont light up unless I have another track engaged in record at the same time and then track 3 is still muffled on playback (very muffled) . I've discovered that it's not the simul sync board as I originally thought. After completely removing it all other tracks still light up for record mode except track three. So what is the connection here where 3 would not light up in solo mode but only when another track is in record mode? It seems odd. 
Just wondering if anyone off the top of their head would have any idea what may be causing this problem. I'm not sure how involved I can get at fixing it at this time but if someone has an idea I may be able to investigate it.
