Hello,
I scored a TSR-8 from work (I teach high school English, and the school had a recording studio at one point in the early nineties), and it's been collecting dust for probably almost a decade. I'd like to get it up and running or, at the very least, figure out if it's in good functioning order. I recorded on all 8 tracks, and they play back, but before I continue working on my home studio I want to get the recorder situation finalized. This is a big step up from my 4-track cassette!
With this in mind, does anyone know of a tech in the Philly/South Jersey area that is qualified to bring these machines up to spec? I'm just outside of Atlantic City, and I'm willing to drive a bit if necessary.
