Greetings--
A few years back i bought a tascam 488 mk ii. worked fine. Many homes, and thousands of miles later, i decided to pull the thing out and give it a whirl.
(I last used it a few months ago. worked fine.)
Yesterday i was recording a demo of a tune. Channels 1&2 recorded and ReRecorded fine and dandy.
When it was time to add vox on channels 3&4, every recording just piled up on top of each other, never erasing the next take.
I spent today taking it apart and cleaning the WHOLE TAPE DECK with 99% isopropyl.
I put it back together. Returned the same tape in the deck. 1&2 will record/erase, but 3&4, do not.
PLEASE HELP or SOMEONE OFFER TO BUY THIS THING.>
