Because mixing down can be so tricky I like to have a variety of outputs for listening back and making adjustments. I already have the xlr main outs going to studio monitors.
I want to send the RCA outs to the following inputs.
1. Headphone mixing box for multiple headphone outs (my 388 headphone jack is bad so it has to come from the main outs)
2. Stereo receiver with speakers set up so you can hear how it sounds "at home" with stereo EQ/loudness/etc
3. Main out for mixing down to computer or 2-track reel to reel while you listen to the above options.
I have a very old un-powered 3 way RCA switch box but something in there is going bad and making noise. I need a new one.
I don't want to buy another one of these because I am having problems with the one I've got and it would be ideal to have all three outs on at the same time.
Would this work? . It's not a siwtch box so presumably all inputs are on at once. It's powered though, which makes me worry about loss, interference, noise, etc.
