Tascam 38 (info wanted)

I'm considering "upgrading" from a Fostex Model 80, to a Tascam 38. I am happy with the model 80, but would prefer a 1/2" for 8-tracks and Tascam stuff is really nice-it would make a nice match to the 22-2 I recently picked up. I was wondering if any users/owners have any info or links. Or maybe the manual in .pdf?

Hey! Just like me. I used Model 80 for a while, but then got a chance to buy a 38 locally (so cheap, that I won't even mention it here!). Very happy about the switch to Tascam, although Fostex was still super-sounding, but 1/2" is more room for your tracks. Sorry, don't have a pdf. For anything specific, you can always ask here.
