Tascam 34b?

I have a 34b on the way I picked up off of ebay and I dont think it comes with a manual but I was wondering if anyone out there knows if when you use the inboard mic pre,s on this machine do they go through the dbx when you use them or is the dbx only in line when you use a mixer?

I'm pretty sure the dbx is bypassed if you use the on-board Microphone inputs.

Luckily, you do have a pretty good mixer with better quality Mic pre-amps then what the 34B offers!
