I recently picked up a Tascam 244, but I'm not sure what kind of tapes it uses or where to get them. Evidently, you can't use regular 1/2 mil. tapes with it, but I haven't been able to find out what you can use with them. Can anyone tell me what kind of tapes to use and where to find them?

You use standard 1/8 inch cassette tapes. You'll want to use high quality, hi-bias ones though and run them at the highest speed available on the deck to get the best quality.
