Show us your Decks!

I really truly do hate all of you!!!! But seriously, you should consider simplifying your lives. So, if you need to get rid of stuff, it'll be hard, but I've decided I can help out and take it for you!!!

Nice rigs everyone.

OMG why is that poor Copicat upside down? I have one identical, plus other two: Video.

Because standing it on its feet is more sensible than attempting to balance it precariously on the handle :D

Now it might be that someone removed the mechanism and put it back in upside-down, but I assure you the case itself is the correct way up.

Bobby Darko,

I have very similar speakers in my living room.

I got them from my dad,

He got them when he was in college in the late 70s.

do you know what they are?

Here are a few of mine...

There is a TSR-8 under the black cover on top of the hutch.;)

Nice stuff guys... I'm feeling a bit horny now from all the gear porn. :o

And speaking of wood, Ethan and Mike's woodworking skills make me wish I'd paid attention in high school shop class. In my mind's eye my studio is full of warm would trim and polished brass, but in reality the only thing that happens when I open a can of wood stain is that it gets all over my new shoes and I have to buy even newer shoes. :D :(

Well we can't all be good at everything, now can we? If I was good at woodworking too it would just be too much talent for one guy to have and no one would speak to me ever again. :p

jjones, is that an RT-707 or 909? I really like how the reel adapters look on those Pioneer decks...like tires with raised white letters. :D Actually the 700 and 900 pioneer decks are just really cool looking all around...I think if I had a consumer open reel deck it'd be a 909. And is that an M-1516 mixer?

This is really neat to see all the different working environiments. Thanks for the thread, Ethan!

And ya gotta love bobby darko's dual 688's in front of the control room window. That is really sweet. :)

I know these are repeat shots of the MM-1000 (from my thread on it), but I like 'em, so...neener-neener:

You were almost correct. It's a 2516. And the Pioneer is a RT-909. The RT-707 is about half the height and has analog meters in between the reel tables. I've got three 909s and they all operate like sewing machines.;)

Cory, is that hay in the background ?

Here are a few of mine, first the tape transfer section with Tequila handy.;)

Second my Tascam M-30 in the shop :)
