I was going to say Mark, if you did the work you must use a test meter to check you have not caused any links to other tracks. Note to others...Do not embark on such work UNLESS you have such a meter.
Packing? Secure the PCB to a piece of 6mm MDF or ply and suitable cardboard wrapping or box. put a printed label on it (twice!) "Please do not bend or Spike".
