Hi to all ,
I got some great help on my question about the Quantegy 499 I was hoping I would ask one more. Has any ever had any issues with sticky shed with the made by Quantegy 456 or 499 tape? I found a couple of single pass 456 reels that I was going to list along with the new 499 tape I talked about in an earlier thread. Couldn't find any date code but I believe they would be from about 12 years ago. Like I mentioned I don't have the ability to to test so I would rather ask the question since the 456 are used. The 499 tapes have never been opened. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I also found several reels of the AMPEX version 456 but I won't even take a chance on selling it.
