problem with Marantz PMD740

Sorry to overpost...
I just found a series of videos on tearing down this unit. It turns out these are off of the back of the tape transport unit; the plastic is the spring retainer, and now I just need to find the screw that holds the spring retainer in place. Problem almost solved.

Bingo. Same issue with a Yahama MT120. That guy Tetraken is a life saver.
