Thanks to the good instructions on another thread here, I have begun converting the EQ components on the record/play amp PCBs. It only took me 10-15 minutes to swap all the parts on one board but now I need to test it.
Can anyone verify for me that all I really need to do is make sure audio still plays through that channel?
Do I need to record something to verify that I didn’t screw up? Do I need to play something off a tape to verify i didn’t screw up? Typing this out for advice is easier than reassembling my mixer, MS-16, and monitirs. Hopefully all I need is to see a 1,000hz test tone on the VU monitoring the input to the tape machine for that channel.
I’m stoked to finish the other 15 boards!
