in the bottom of a dresser drawer....
Of course, the business that I bought it from is long out of businees and my old phone number doesn't work here in Florida. ;)
My first session with the machine was the very next day, New Year's Day 1978.

Wow.... It's been a while (almost 31 years). The console was a prototype Auditronics 16x8. As for mics, I know I had a couple of Neumann U-67's in there as overheads on the drums. Don't recall the other drum mics though. Other mics that I used in this studio at the time included a couple of Beyer M500 ribbons, a couple of Beyer M69 dynamics, a couple of Teac PE120's, a Sony condenser, an Altec condenser, and, I think I had an RE-20 (possibly on the kick). There were other mics that I don't recall also. I have some pix around here from that session. If I can find them I'll post them later. The pix on the back of the album were shot at a gig that they had where they were the house band.
