    Fostex repair ideas?

    Hi everyone,
I have a Fostex 1/2" 16-track that needs work. It's got really low hours, but the transport is shot I think. Anyone know of someone who works on these machines?
    -Thanks

    Hope This Helps

HmmÖ a shot transport and low hours donít seem to go together. Usually the transport is one of the first things to go with heavy use on the E and R series.

I donít know what part of the East coast you live, but check the following Fostex and Tascam links to begin your search for a tech who can service your machine. Make sure he/she has at least a few gray hairs before you let them touch it.

    Talking

    Yo Go-in-Indian:

Give Sweetwater a call -- it's a FREE call and they offer repair service for about everything.

You "might" find their price reasonable since they like to make new customers.

    Just a suggestion.
